Britney's "Groundhog Day"

I think we're beginning to see the cracks in the maybe too soon Britney Comeback machine. First there's Circus, her new cd. The entire thing, due to be released on December 2nd, has been leaked online. Have you heard it? No one seems to be loving it. And more and more I'm reading these kinds of things - Britney is feeling controlled, annoyed, caged.

Check out this video, shot on the set of her "Womanizer" video. She's pretending to be her dad. Sure, it's funny....but it's also kind of sad. And is it just me or is it laced with a little anger, as well?

Britney Spears says her life feels like "Groundhog Day”.

The Toxic singer - who is under the conservatorship of her father Jamie - believes she would have more freedom in prison.

In a new fly-on-the-wall documentary she tearfully admits, "There's no excitement, there's no passion.

"I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you’re gonna get out.

"But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like Groundhog Day every day.

"I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening.

"If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time.

"I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free."

I'm sure it's hard on her to be under constant supervision...especially being a grown woman and a mom.
