Queen Latifah Refuses To Discuss Sexuality

Queen Latifah isn't going to talk about her sexuality. No way no how. However, when she was on Oprah last week promoting her new movie, The Secret Life of Bees, she was talking about a trip to Egypt and awkwardly went on and on about Egyptian men and how hot they are - while Oprah, Alicia Keys and the other women giggled nervously. It was very awkward and she kept going on about it!

She's gay.

I'm just saying. I don't care if she wants to talk about it or not.

Queen Latifah is refusing to address rumors about her sexuality.

"I don't have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life," the Hairspray star told Sunday's New York Times magazine.

"You don't get that part of me. Sorry," she added. "We’re not discussing it in our meetings, we’re not discussing it at Cover Girl...nobody gets that.

"I don't feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don't care if people think I'm gay or not," she said. "Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway."

Latifah, 38, had been linked to her longtime personal trainer. Last December, she denied rumors that they were getting married.

"People will make up all sorts of things that are not true," she told the Chicago Sun-Times. "There ain't gonna' be no wedding."

Queen Latifah is engaged to her personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins and they're making wedding plans, according to this week's Enquirer. Latifah and Jeanette have been together for five years - they fell for each other while working out together in the gym. Jeanette has trained many celebrities and is the author of "The Hollywood Trainer Weight-loss Plan." Queen Latifah has been very secretive about their relationship because she is a spokesperson for a number of companies. Now that California recognizes gay marriage, Latifah feels the time is right, but she still plans to keep her private life very discreet, There will be no shouting it from the rooftops.
