While official results of an autopsy performed on Jett Travolta have yet to be publicly announced, mortician Glen Campbell of the Restview Memorial Mortuary in the Bahamas confirmed that cause of death was a seizure and "there was no sign of head trauma."

RIP Jett Travolta
I have long wondered whether Jett Travolta was autistic. I disagree with the way the Church of Scientology views autism and other develpmental disabilities. However, not once did I ever think that the Travolta's DIDN'T love their son deeply.
My sister was severely disabled and in her teens developed a seizure disorder. I know how hard it is to get the meds right. My sister, like Jett, was taking Depakote and it was a long, long road trying to get the meds working for her. It was never under control.
My heart goes out to the Travolta family. As a daughter who saw her parents bury a child and as a sister who almost 20 years later longs for her sibling - I CAN imagine what they are going through. I wish them strength, courage and love for the rest of their lives in dealing with their tragic loss.
TMZ has learned more about the medical condition of John Travolta's son, Jett, and the medication that ultimately didn't work.
We're now told the grand mal seizures Jett suffered were "frequent and extremely serious." Travolta's lawyers, Michael Ossi and Michael McDermott, tell us "each seizure was like a death," with Jett losing consciousness and convulsing.
We now know Jett was taking a drug called Depakote, a strong anti-seizure medication. There have been reports Travolta refused to give his son anti-seizure meds because of Scientology but those stories are not true.
Jett had been having seizures on an average of every four days, until he started taking Depakote. Ossi and McDermott say the drug initially worked, reducing the frequency to approximately once every three weeks.
Jett took Depakote for "several years," but it eventually lost its effectiveness, according to Ossi and McDermott. They say the Travoltas were concerned about possible physical damage. And, Jett went back to having around one seizure a week. So Travolta and Preston, after consulting neurosurgeons, stopped administering the drug. No one is suggesting withdrawal of the medicine in any way caused the fatal episode.

John Travolta's Son Dies
There has always been speculation and criticism over whether or not John Travolta's son Jett was autistic. Clearly that doesn't matter now. This is shocking news and my heart goes out to the Travolta family for their loss.
The teenage son of actor John Travolta died suddenly on Friday during a family vacation in the Bahamas, according to the family's lawyer.
Jett Travolta, 16, suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, attorney Michael Ossi said.
Attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene, Ossi said.
Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest child of Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston. They also have a daughter, Ella Blue, who was born in 2000.

Travolta Family Out & About
It's hard for me to even come up with anything to say about Travolta anymore. Scientology-closeted gayness aside, if his son is autistic and they aren't doing everything possible for him...it's disgusting. They blame his "condition" on carpet cleaners?! WHAT?!
It's not often that you see John Travolta, Kelly Preston and both of their kids out together, but the whole family had a night out in Paris. (John REALLY looks different with that facial hair and bald head.) Ella is 9, and Jett, 16, is reportedly autistic. Because Scientology doesn't recognize autism or psychiatry, Travolta has never publicly admitted that his son is autistic and blames his disability on environmental causes - specifically "carpet cleaning chemicals." Jett speaks with difficulty and autism organizations (and certainly Jenny McCarthy) criticize the Travoltas for not giving their son autism treatment and education.

Tom Cruise Crazy Still Creepy
Ugh. I know TCC is working really hard on that comeback, but why does it have to be so creepy? Looks like everyone was really excited to be at his big housewarming bash this weekend, doesn't it? Here are some of the arrivals:
Oprah & Gayle King
Rita Wilson
Brooke Shields
And I share Laineygossip.com's curiousity - where is John Travolta? Why don't the two Scientology bigwigs hang out? Love Lainey's take on it.
Interestingly enough… but not that surprising… you will note John Travolta does not appear to have been there. In fact, the two, despite being the most identifiable figures in the worship of Xenu, seldom seem to associate. Am dying to know the smutty reason for it.
Is it bad blood between two old lovers? Or does the GMD not respect John’s weakness? The GMD of course has achieved top Thetan level self restraint, successfully suppressing all his sequined desires. Someone like the GMD, who has managed to squeeze his gay into the most remote, the most hidden, the most inaccessible parts of his soul naturally would look down on John Travolta and his homo relapses every few months or so on the massage table. As such, their meetings are likely reserved only for Xenu high holidays a couple times a year. Or at least until John can get a handle on his homo.
Love it!
THE guest list to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' weekend housewarming party read like a "people who I need to suck up to" list. One attendee said, "Everyone he's been having issues with was invited: Sumner Redstone, Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, you name it. Then there were all the gays, which was hilarious because Scientology 'cures' gays . . . There's a tenet in Scientology that basically says, 'After you cut people off, you have to invite them back in.' Especially if your career's in trouble, I guess."

John Travolta Groovin' to Showtunes
This is so.....gay.
JOHN Travolta has an 8-year-old daughter, but it looks as if he's the one obsessed with "The Little Mermaid." The pudgy "Pulp Fiction" star sat front row with daughter Ella at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on 46th Street Saturday, where he sang along to the show's tunes, including "Under the Sea." Afterward, he brought 26 of Ella's pals backstage and took pictures with the cast. "He was touching all the costumes, he looked amazed," said our spy. "He said he was way, way into the show. He stayed backstage for a while." Said Travolta's rep: "His daughter loves the show, so he knows it well." (Source: Page Six)
