The quesionably reliable STAR Magazine is reporting that Sean Penn and Natalie Portman are having an affair and this is what prompted his divorce papers to be filed. According to STAR:
Weeks after Star broke the news that Sean Penn was seen making out with Natalie Portman, the Oscar winner filed for separation from his wife Robin Wright Penn. Now Star has learned that Sean, 48, and Natalie, 27, are still seeing each other!
"She stimulates him in ways no other person has, mentally or professionally," says a source. "There's a lot more there with Natalie than any of the other girls Sean's been with."
It was Sean's indiscretion with Natalie that encouraged Robin, 43, to stop turning a blind eye to his philandering. "She was furious he was messing around with such a young star," says an insider.
As Star reported, Sean and Natalie were seen in a passionate embrace following dinner — during which they were "constantly touching each other" — at Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar on March 17.
"They went to a bank of elevators that only goes to the spa or to private rooms," an eyewitness told Star at the time. "They came back about 45 minutes later, and that's when I saw them making out."
I hate to see Sean and Robin's marriage end - but it never seemed like the healthiest of relationships, did it? All the breaking up and making up. Very passionate, I'm sure. Given their track record, I won't be surprised if they get back together.
Adultery/cheating aside....what do you think about Natalie Portman and Sean Penn as a couple?!

Penn Teases Madonna
Sounds like Robin Wright Penn isn't the only woman Sean Penn dissed on Sunday night. At an Oscars after-party Madonna praised ex-husband Sean Penn's performance in Milk to which Penn responded, "Thanks. Another kid already?" while gesturing toward Madonna's fake boyfriend, Jesus Luz, 22.
A source reveals, "Madonna looked furious after Sean's comments."
It was recently claimed that Madonna's relationship with Luz is a publicity stunt to drum up interest in her upcoming European Sticky & Sweet tour.

It's The Most Wonderful Day of the Year!
Oscars Day is finally here! I'm going to be live blogging tonight during the show, so if you're online while watching the show - check in! I'd LOVE to hear your comments. I'll be with lots of fun girls so I'll be sure to report all of the catty things we say! ;-)
I'm getting ready to fill out my ballot. I've already asked this on Facebook, but I wonder what you guys think: Mickey Rourke or Sean Penn for Best Actor? I really want Sean Penn to win - I LOVED Milk, but so far the consensus is that Mickey Rourke will take it.
I have a hard time casting my Oscars ballot - it's such a struggle between what I want to win and what I think will win. But right now the burning questions I have are: What will Angelina wear? Will she bring it? Who will win the red carpet couples showdown? Brad & Angie or Jen & John Mayer? Is there even a doubt that The Jolie-Pitts will kick John Mayer's ass? John Mayer might be borderline hot, he might even be talented - but he is no Brad Pitt.
See you tonight! And again tomorrow morning for a recap on the fashion and the winners.
xoxo

The Penns Heat Up SAG's
Did you watch the SAG Awards last night? Loved them! My favorite couple of the night was Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn. I was chatting with a neighbor of theirs in Marin recently and she commented how absolutely FILTHY Sean looks when she sees him. Like, gross dirty. She said Robin seems much more clean but always running around with her hair covering her face and slouched over, hiding from prying eyes.
Luckily, none of that nonsense was on display last night. Robin and Sean look fantastic together. Let's just hope that he didn't meet up with Lindsay Lohan at any of the after-parties. What IS that all about?! *shudder* And can someone traslate his acceptance speech for me? What did he say?

Lilo Out With Sean Penn Again??
This is the second time Sean Penn has supposedly been seen with Lindsay Lohan. WTF?! Why would he be seen in public with her?!?!
LINDSAY Lohan left her constant companion Samantha Ronson at home the other night to hang with Sean Penn. He and Lohan went to Nobu in West Hollywood, reports Celebuzz.com. Later, Page Six sources said the pair - who were spotted together all over Manhattan last month - went to newly reopened club Guy's. Ronson and Lohan have been fighting for weeks, and as one tipster told us, "Sam broke up with Lindsay but she is completely in denial about it."

Anne Hathaway Ditches Party
Guess Anne Hathaway really hasn't given up smoking...
ANNE Hathaway doesn't always act like such a good girl. Monday night, the star stopped by Tiffany for the "Bride Wars" premiere bash, but quickly ran off to party with more privacy. While Kristen Wig, Dina Lohan and Damien Fahey mingled about the jewelry mecca, Hathaway was spotted by one of our spies "smoking cigarettes and playing pool" at the Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar. Harvey Weinstein was also there with Sean Penn and Josh Brolin, who "were surrounded by girls and loving every second of it," said our source.

Josh Brolin on Sean Penn, Russell Crowe
I'm sure they're both jerks, but I like Josh Brolin better than Russell Crowe, so I thought this was funny...
Brolin ripped Russell Crowe, who co-starred with him in "American Gangster." Praising Sean Penn in "Milk," he growled, "Quite an actor Sean Penn . . . Amazing. Not an asshole like Russell Crowe."

Lindsay & Sean? Lindsay Afraid Of Nordstrom?
Interesting...
Page Six is reporting that Lindsay Lohan and Sean Penn innocently discussed working together in a movie. WHY?! Why would Sean Penn want to do a movie with LiLo? She's back to her trainwreck ways. I think it's more likely that Sean and Linds did some blow and got it on together, don't you? Especially after reading this:
(photo: Chismetime.com)
Lindsay Lohan made an in store appearance at the Grove Nordstrom last night to promote her leggings line 6126. According to Chismetime.com, Lilo was even more of a disaster than usual.
Perhaps it was the low turnout that set her on a slide. Apparently there were only 60 people present (half were staff) and if fans wanted to meet her, they had to spend a minimum of $150 for the privilege of a styling opportunity with Miss Crank herself.
Unfortunately, mid way through the event, Lilo decided she couldn’t handle it anymore – “she was feeling very fragile” …which means she needed a bump. So they took her round back and by this point it was now two hours on that the remaining few fans (out of like only two dozen) had been waiting for a moment with her, and they were told they’d have to mind themselves and stay chill because Lindsay was feeling “nervous and scared”.
From what???
All of a sudden she had to leave. Security surrounded her, protecting her from the super dangerous Nordstrom employees and the five remaining fans hoping to meet her, and ushered her from behind velvet curtains into a waiting car.
Um. Who’s a paranoid freak?
You know what makes people paranoid freaks?
Yeah.
Drugs.

Sean Penn Texts Madonna
There are so many movies coming out in the next few months that I'm dying to see. I can't wait to see "Milk" starring Sean Penn as San Francisco's first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk, who was assasinated (along with San Francisco's mayor) by another Supervisor. The cast has so many of my favorites. In addition to Penn, it also stars James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Josh Brolin and it's directed by Gus Van Sant.
It's coming out Dec. 5th. I can't wait!
JAMES Franco seems to like playing gay characters and talking about it. In his umpteenth interview about his role in "Milk," opposite Sean Penn, Franco told Out magazine, "After our [on-screen] kiss, Sean texted Madonna - his ex-wife, Madonna - and said, 'I just popped my cherry kissing a guy. I thought of you. I don't know why' . . . There's a scene in the pool and everybody else is dressed and there's just something uncomfortable about that."

Robin Wright Penn Withdraws Divorce Petition
I know their relationship is tumultuous, but I have always loved Sean Penn and Robin Wright together. I think she's SO beautiful. Oh, how I loved her when she was Kelly Capwell on "Santa Barbara." And I mean...she's actually really talented. But that's when I discovered her and I've loved her ever since. Good luck to them!
ROBIN Wright Penn now no longer wants to get a divorce from cranky ladies man Sean Penn. "Extra" confirmed that a dismissal was filed and granted in court Tuesday. Robin filed for divorce from her husband of 11 years on Dec. 21. On the eve of the reconciliation, the couple showed up at an Eddie Vedder concert in Berkeley, Calif., where Penn took the stage to wish his wife a happy birthday. Monday, Penn's ex-girlfriend, Petra Nemcova, whom he'd squired all over LA during the Oscars, celebrated her single status at the Food Bank for NYC gala at Pier 60, where she flirted up a storm.
