Simon Cowell & Ex Talk On TV

I've admitted that I have a little thing for Simon Cowell. It's not a full-on Celebrity Boyfriend thing, but I like him. However, in thinking about it - I think I'd MUCH rather be one of his exes than an actual girlfriend.

Simon Cowell and former girlfriend Terri Seymour have appeared in a US TV interview together discussing their break-up.

Speaking on TV entertainment show Extra, Simon claimed presenter Terri had dumped him by text.

He said: “Terri decided to dump me. You sent me a text.”

Terri immediately denied she’d been so cruel and revealed: “I didn’t dump you – it was just time. We had a great six years and we are the best of friends.”

Simon also refuted claims he had paid Terri £5million as a parting gift.

He said: “If anything, I should be getting the money. Rumours go around, but there was no £5million, no.”

Simon has always been open about not wanting to start a family and Terri has previously spoken of her desire for children.

It is thought a combination of that, Simon’s penchant for keeping in touch with his ex girlfriends, including X Factor mentor Sinitta, and pictures of model Jasmine Lennard leaving his London home contributed to Terri calling time on the relationship in September.

But it seems, she will now become part of Simon ex-lover brigade and remain close to the music mogul.

“I do call Terri first when I’ve got an issue or if I’m moaning about something or if I want to bounce an idea off her,” he said.

With Terri confirming: “We do speak on the phone all the time. It’s true.”
