Wow! Less than a month after surviving a plane crash, DJ AM (Adam Goldberg) has scored the biggest job of his career. On Wednesday at the Hollywood Palladium, AM will be working with Jay-Z as his DJ.
"He's the greatest rapper in the world," Goldstein, 35, says. "This is the biggest thing that's happened in my career."
It will be his first performance since the Sept. 19 crash that left him with second and third degree burns on his face and left arm.

Beyonce Opens Up
Beyonce opens up about her life with Jay-Z in this month's Essence magazine. I like how she says, ""It's been my day so many days already." So true, but endearing to me that she would recognize it.
Six months after marrying Jay-Z, Beyonce is at last revealing details about their top-secret wedding.
"What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real," the singer, 27, tells Essence magazine in its November issue.
Notoriously tight-lipped about her relationship with the hip-hop mogul, Beyoncé does share a little about her wedding day, but only after groaning, "You're gonna get me in trouble."
Beyoncé tells the magazine she didn't want an engagement ring because, "People put too much emphasis on that," she says. "It's just material and it's just silly to me."
Instead, the magazine reports, she wears a band on her ring finger over a tattoo of the Roman numeral IV (Beyoncé was born on Sept. 4; Jay-Z on Dec. 4; they were married on April 4). Jay-Z, 38, has a matching tattoo on his left-hand ring finger.
(Beyoncé has not commented on the significance of a $5 million, 18-carat flawless diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz she has been photographed wearing since September.)
Their wedding was small and intimate because Beyoncé is not a "traditional woman," she says, and didn't want the drama. "It's been my day so many days already," she told Essence.
Beyoncé, who just debuted two singles off her new album due Nov. 18, was certain she and Jay-Z would end up as husband and wife. "We've been together a long time," she says. "We always knew it would happen."

Jay-Z Reacts to Winehouse's Kanye Attack
I'm sure you've heard (or saw) Amy Dirtyhouse's attack on a fan, shitty singing, gum spitting, Kanye-ranting performance at Glastonbury this weekend. If not, google it. Jay-Z says he doesn't know where the rant against Amy came from. Hmmm....I'm sure some of it stems from his comments at The Grammy's this year and also ALL THE CRACK SHE'S SMOKING.
Amy Winehouse stunned Jay-Z with her fiery temper at the Glastonbury Festival over the weekend (28Jun08) - after launching a scathing attack on his pal Kanye West.
The Brit has hit the headlines for attacking a reveler in the crowd at the English music festival during her spot on Saturday - but headliner Jay-Z was more put out by the singer's comments about West minutes later.
Jay-Z, who was watching her show from the side of Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage, admits he was a little upset when Winehouse turned on his "brother" during a rant in which she attempted to defend festival organizers for hiring Jay-Z as Glastonbury's first rap headliner.
She told the audience: "Imagine if it was a c**t like Kanye West! 'C**ts like Kanye' - should be his next album title!"
Jay-Z tells MTV.com, "She said something about Kanye late on (in her set) but I didn't hear it and I don't agree with it. He's my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-a-fella (records) right now.
"I guess I should hook them up because he's a great guy too. I don't know what the problem is - I don't know where that (comment) came from."

Baby Watch: Beyonce
For whatever reason I still don't think she's pg...
FUELING rumors that her wedding to Jay-Z was a shotgun-style marriage, Beyoncé has been steering clear of the sauce. The hip-hop queen, who often enjoys a flute of champagne, abstained from any alcohol whatsoever at the Kanye West after-party at 1Oak last week. "Beyoncé only drank water," said our onlooker. As for the baby rumor, her reps previously told us they would perform an ultrasound and get back to us. We're still waiting.

Beyonce Pregnant?
I don't know why, but I still really doubt Bey is preggers.
BEYONCÉ Knowles still won't confirm her April 4 wedding to Jay-Z, so there was no chance yesterday she'd confirm she's pregnant. But pals of the tight-lipped newlyweds say the songbird is expecting the couple's first child. "She has gained a lot of pregnancy weight," a source said. "When she gains weight, she normally does the Def Jam detox, but not now." A rep for Beyoncé said, "I don't know if she's pregnant. Let me perform an ultrasound and get back to you."

Beyonce & Jay-Z's Late Night Burgers
I think after the fabulous clothes, this kind of thing would be my favorite part of being a celeb.
AFTER a night of red carpet glamour at the Metropolitan Museum, newlyweds Beyoncé and Jay-Z headed out for burgers and fries. "Pop Burger had just closed," said a source. "There was a loud knock on the door, and Jay and Bey, who was still in her ball gown, were at the door with their Maybach waiting." The East 58th Street spot opened its doors and bagged up cheeseburgers and fries, which the famished duo took to go. (Page Six)

Chris Martin Defends Jay-Z
Did you know there's a whole bruhaha over in England about Jay-Z headlining The Glastonbury Festival (a summer concert festival)? Apparently, lots of Brits think Coldplay should be headlining instead. Gotta love Chris Martin. He's a class
act.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has defended Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z.
The ‘In My Place’ hitmaker said that he couldn’t understand why people had been saying Coldplay would be a better headline act than the rapper.
He said: “Why would we need to [play Glastonbury], considering the best musician on the planet is headlining?
“I find it pretty embarrassing, all the palaver [over Jay-Z’s booking].
“We recently came back to England to find all this all this hoo-hah, grandpas complaining about things they don’t know about,” he added.
“Coldplay not playing and Jay-Z playing is exactly what needs to happen for the world. He’s the best rapper in the world.”
Jay-Z — real name Shawn Corey Carter — is set to play the Pyramid Stage at the festival on June 28.
Coldplay headlined the summer festival in 2005.

Jay-Z Gets in Trouble for Being a Dick
Seriously? I would have been pissed, too.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have only been married a matter of weeks — but it seems there may already be trouble in paradise for the newly weds.
The pair were spotted rowing at a star-studded gig at the Hollywood Bowl in LA after Jay-Z slated his new wife’s song.
The DJ played one of Beyonce’s biggest hits, Crazy In Love. But as the fans grooved, Jay-Z growled. Storming to the mic, he yelled: “F*** that. Sorry Bey but f*** that - let’s play something else.”
A furious Beyonce stormed off before laying into her man later away from the crowd.
A source said: “Beyonce had been side stage for most of the night, dancing and singing along,.
“But when Jay-Z got the song pulled, her mood soured. He meant it as a joke, but Beyonce didn’t take it that way.
“After he came off stage, she confronted him, demanding to know what the hell his comments had been about. She was gesturing wildly and not looking happy.
“Like any good husband would, Jay-Z grovelled and tried to get out of it with compliments.
“It’s a shame because earlier the pair had been flashing their tattooed wedding ring fingers. Both have ‘IV’ - the date of their wedding’ - inked on.
“Later peace was restored and they were smiling and holding hands again.”
The couple, who married secretly in New York a fortnight ago, are yet to officially confirm their nuptials. (Source: Showbiz Spy)

Jay Z & Beyonce: Hitched!
In an intimate affair that included her Destiny's Child cohorts and Gwyneth & Chris Martin (wtf?), Beyonce and Jay Z were married in NYC yesterday. Guests wore cream. I always think it's weird when couples make their guests wear a certain color. But whatever! I can't wait to see pics!

Jay Z & Beyonce: Is Today the Day?
Rumor has it today is the big day for Jay and Beyonce. Can you even imagine how beautiful Beyonce will look as a bride? Altho, I do think she can tend to look a little "pageant-y." Let's hope THAT doesn't happen!

Beyonce and Jay Z: Marriage License!
People.com is exclusively reporting that Beyonce and Jay Z have gotten a marriage license! It's valid for 60 days. Not surprisingly, the couple have "no comment."
I wonder if Rhianna and her buddy Chris Brown will be invited?
