Mayer Encouraged Jess' Spirituality

Oh man, if this is true it's so sad but kind of funny at the same time. According to Page Six, when John Mayer dated Jessica Simpson, he evidently liked how she looked more than how she talked. "John used to tell Jess all the time, 'I'm really attracted to your spiritual side,' " a friend tells us. "He'd tell her that every time she opened her mouth to speak. It was a nice way of basically saying, 'Just sit there and be pretty, and don't ruin it with talk.' The sad thing is she started to tell people, 'I'm working on being more spiritual,' and then just sit there quietly."

Now that Jess has been dumped from her country label, I wonder what's next?

I know celebrities are narcissistic. But this video of John Mayer doing "stand-up?" I think this is proof-positive that Mayer actually suffers from Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) which is defined as "a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and a lack of empathy."

The narcissist is described as turning inward for gratification rather than depending on others and as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power and prestige.

Only on a boat filled with adoring fans would you find so many giggles over this crap.

John Twits, Jen Splits

Wouldn't it be awesome if Jennifer Aniston broke up with John Mayer because of Twitter?! That's what Star Magazine is reporting. And of course, you can never trust Star - but it's still a great rumor.

A source says, "John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he'd say: 'I've been so busy with work. I'm sorry I haven't had time to call you back'.

"Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn't have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates.

"Every few hours, sometimes minutes, he'd update with some stupid line. And in her mind, she was like 'He has time for all this Twittering, but he can't send me a text, an email, make a call?'

"He didn't even deny it. He knew he was avoiding her. So when she called him on it and ended things, he just said OK, and that he was sorry it didn't work out.

"He took the break-up like a man."

Aniston & Mayer Call It Quits?

E! is reporting that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have broken up again.

A source says that the pair's on-again, off-again relationship may have ended when Aniston returned from overseas, where she was promoting Marley & Me. She returned sometime within the last week.

"He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour," the source said.

Aniston's rep did not immediately comment. Mayer's rep declined to comment on the singer's personal life.

Note, once again, HE broke up with HER. I'm sure he'll hold an impromptu press conference to make sure we know that again. He must be DYING to chat with the paps! It's been too long!

Jen/John vs. Brange: Who Was Best?

Tell me which couple you liked best last night. Of course, you know me - I think Brad and Angie were great last night. Jen looked cute. I liked her hair and I liked her dress. I think she's just a little too tan for a 40 year old woman. I love a tan as much as The Aniston, but I just think she's venturing into tanorexic territory. And John Mayer vs. Brad Pitt isn't even a fair comparison. Clearly Brad is The Man to Mayer's arrogant kid.

It's The Most Wonderful Day of the Year!

I'm getting ready to fill out my ballot. I've already asked this on Facebook, but I wonder what you guys think: Mickey Rourke or Sean Penn for Best Actor? I really want Sean Penn to win - I LOVED Milk, but so far the consensus is that Mickey Rourke will take it.

I have a hard time casting my Oscars ballot - it's such a struggle between what I want to win and what I think will win. But right now the burning questions I have are: What will Angelina wear? Will she bring it? Who will win the red carpet couples showdown? Brad & Angie or Jen & John Mayer? Is there even a doubt that The Jolie-Pitts will kick John Mayer's ass? John Mayer might be borderline hot, he might even be talented - but he is no Brad Pitt.

It really makes me mad when John Mayer looks sort of hot. Damn him! Mayer is prettying up for his walk down the Oscar's red carpet with Jennifer Aniston. Can't wait to see Mayer and Aniston try to bring it the way only Brad & Angie can. It'll be awesome!

John Mayer Steps Out With Blonde

X17 is reporting that John Mayer might be cheating on Jennifer Aniston with a "cute blonde." The reporter on the scene said:

"John seemed a bit nervous, which is unusual since he's usually so cocky around us. The two of them left separately and they basically ran out the door to their separate cars."

The photographer added, "John was talking to the girl, who was really cute - she was very animated and excited. It seemed like he was telling a really great story, and as the dinner went on, John moved around the side of the table to be closer to her. If I were Jen, I would be pissed!"

I think if John Mayer was cheating on Jen he wouldn't be out in public. Still, I watched the video!

John & Jen: "Still Together"

Don't you think it's funny how Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer got back together right before all of the publicity for "Marley & Me" started? They were seen EVERYWHERE together all the time and then nothing. How long has it been since we've seen them together?! Now comes word that Jennifer is presenting at The Academy Awards. The Academy Awards starring Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt! (Because that's what it's alllll about this year.)

Well, lo and behold, as soon as that announcement was made all of the sudden we're seeing bits in all of the gossip rags: Hey! Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are totally still together! He might even propose to her on her 40th birthday on Feb. 11!!!

Expect a very public date SOON.

Jen & John Go Solo

Isn't it interesting that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer didn't spend the holidays together? After all, she's so lucky in love and he's so her man. Mmmm hmmm.

JENNIFER Aniston is celebrating her box-office pummeling of ex-hubby Brad Pitt - but she's doing it without her boy toy by her side. Aniston spent Christmas (the day her flick "Marley & Me" grossed $3 million more than Pitt's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button") with best pal Courteney Cox and Courteney's hubby, David Arquette, in LA. Missing from the glass-clinking was John Mayer, who stayed east. Aniston toted Mayer around through all her promotional gigs to deter interviewers from focusing on her single status.

Jen & John Run Into Richie & Madden

I read this article and all I could think to say was "Oh puke. Puke, puke, puke." You could see that "classic Aniston smile?" Puke.

Sunset Towers Hotel was the place for star gazing Monday night, when Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer dropped by for a late-night meal.

"They were positively glowing in the candlelight," an onlooker said of the couple, who took a corner table in the dimly lit, Hollywood landmark. "You could see her classic 'Aniston smile' on her face."

The on-again couple – just back from their jaunt to New York City – talked closely in low tones.

But they did take time to chat with another celebrity couple, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, who were dining nearby.

"There was a lot of excited talk between the two girls," the onlooker noted, "with Nicole's head bobbing up and down as she talked to Jen." (When Richie star exited the restaurant a short time later, she gave an "exaggerated, very happy wave" to her new Friend.)

But for most of the night, Aniston, 39, and Mayer, 31, only had eyes for each other. "They were very happy and goofy," the source added. "They seemed to revel in their privacy."

John Mayer Not Darker

Dear John Mayer,

If your girlfriend told you that you can't talk to the paps anymore - just say so. I mean, there has to be SOME kind of penance for telling them (repeadtedly) that YOU broke up with HER, right?

Attention, John Mayer fans: There's no need to send your favorite musician your extra Paxil.

In only his third official blog post since July, Mayer hits back at claims that he's taken on a depressive demeanor.

"I am not darker, angrier or moodier these days. In fact, it's just the opposite," he writes on his Web site.

What's really up is that Mayer's brief reputation for being playful with the omnipresent paparazzi was just part of a phase that has now ended, he explains.

"All that's happened is that I've given up on trying to find a way to use unwanted media as a form of entertainment. (It still was worth a try.) A walk to the car isn't the best time to try and analyze my mood or disposition, so you'll probably always get a bad read from it," he writes.

"Things have changed a bit, and the decision to slide on and off your radar isn't so much my own anymore. But I'm too young to stomp my feet about it," Mayer continues. "All I can do is concentrate on keeping my heart and soul correct and then redecorate around it."


Rekindled Romance
Mayer entered a media maelstrom when he split from Jennifer Aniston in August, then rekindled their romance last month, with the couple celebrating his 31st birthday together.

The musician also reveals he will be staying put in Los Angeles for a top-secret "side project that is extremely cool," and promised more updates from now on, "so that you don't feel as if I've disappeared and been replaced with a robotic clone."

HAHA! Jennifer Aniston is supposedly livid with Pink for insinuating that she's "stupid." Next time I run into Pink, we're totally going to bond over this!

Pink said, "I got into an argument with him. He said something along the lines of, 'I only s**g really stupid women', and I said, 'I guess they would have to be.'

"I don't get him and Jennifer at all."

Jennifer has now reportedly ordered her friends not to speak to the singer.

A source said, "She’s livid that Pink would suggest she's stupid like that in public. Jen's a clever girl and she can't believe her intelligence is being called into question.

"But Pink was actually defending Jennifer – John infuriated her by talking about women like that. Jennifer has already made it quite clear that Pink is to be blacklisted among her circle.

"This is Jen, she never voices her feelings to people's faces. Pink, however, is a different story."

According to OK!, Jennifer Aniston has BANNED John Mayer from blogging about their relationship. Some people think his and Jen's people banned him. Either way, this is a guy who holds "press conferences" with the paps talking about how HE broke up with HER. He loves the attention! He lives for the press! There is no way he can do it. It's like a sickness. It's an addiction that must be fed!

"She was horrified when he spoke publicly about their break up.

"John begged Jen for a second chance.

"She told him she wanted to get back together, too, but no more street-corner press conferences and blogging about her."

Aniston's rep was yesterday forced to deny reports the actress was pregnant.

The spokesperson told Entertainment Tonight, "Give me a break.

According to Perez, Jennifer Aniston has been drowning her sorrows in vino since her split from John Mayer. After two whole glasses the other night she drunk dialed him. Blech. So gross! Please don't let Aniston & Mayer get back together. I couldn't stand it!

JENNIFER Aniston is back in contact with ex John Mayer, a new report claims.

The former Friends star and the No Such Thing singer split in August this year after several months of dating.

But, Jennifer, 39, is said to be longing for a reconciliation; and the pair have "enjoyed daily telephone conversations since the actress returned to Los Angeles from a work trip to Mexico last week," according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.

A source tells the publication, "Jennifer reached out to John first. She had a few glasses of wine - then decided to throw caution to the wind and make the first move.

"John was pleasantly surprised to hear from her. He says they've been in contact pretty much every day since and he’s really looking forward to seeing her again soon."

The source continued, "Jennifer's friends are worried.

"She's had a really tough time since the break-up and the more time goes on, she realizes how much John still means to her. Basically, she's still in love with him and has had a really tough time letting go."

Mayer "Immature"

Oh, this Mayer-Aniston split is getting nasty! As I predicted, the retaliation for John's comment that *he* ended the relationship has begun. While friends of the former Mrs. Pitt are saying she'll remain dignified, they are dishing away! Apparently, John has cobwebs in his wallet and made Jen pay for everything! Cheap bastard. lmao

John Mayer has been called "immature" for talking to the media about his split from Jennifer Aniston.

John, 30, explained his version of the breakup to a magazine reporter, who quickly posted online that Mayer did the dumping. "I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right," Mayer told the reporter.

Lee Kane, author of How to Be a Professional Bachelor, says that the No Such Thing hitmaker made the comments because "It's a pride and ego thing," adding, "I think it makes him temporarily feel better. He's either hurt or has gotten hurt — otherwise he wouldn't have gone out of his way in talking to the media."

Mayer has habit about dishing on his exes. He joked about his sex life with Jennifer Love Hewitt after they split, and later apolgized.

And, following his split from Jessica Simpson, he blogged a letter to an "ex lover," writing, "perhaps you didn't understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me." (The post only fueled Internet speculation that he was referring to Simpson; he later said he wasn't.)

Kane tells Us Weekly magazine that while it's "immature talking about his conquests," it has to do with "the dominant male psyche.

"He wants to feel that he's in charge and that he's making all the decisions," Kane explains.

Aniston's friends weren't best pleased by John's comments, either. "Jen will never kiss and tell, but it's she who ended the relationship," the pal told MSNBC's Courtney Hazlett.

"(Mayer's) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child. Expect Jen to behave like a lady.

"He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers.

"He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn't want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.”

Another source adds that the couple's relationship came under strain because "Jen was tired of paying for everything.

"Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer's) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. ... Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her."

Mayer Says He Broke Up With Aniston

I think it's worth noting that John Mayer says that HE ended the relationship with Aniston. Bet she's not happy about THAT - publicly dumped once again. Expect some sort of retaliation.


Though John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston were decidedly mum about their romance, the singer is opening up about their breakup.

"There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing," Mayer told reporters about his split with Aniston after working out at an Equinox Gym in New York's SoHo neighborhood.

If anything Mayer had only praise for his ex, saying: "Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met."

So what went wrong? "People are different, people have different chemistry," said Mayer, who appeared emotional, nervous and sad. "I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right."

Sources confirmed that the duo, whose whirlwind romance began in April, mutually decided to split earlier this week.

Since the breakup, Aniston and Mayer have settled into their separate lives on different sides of the country.
