Oooooh, Stephen King is going to make a whole legion of Twilight fans M-A-D! King has launched an attack on Twlight scribe, Stephenie Meyer - calling her a "not very good" writer.
King, best known for his work in horror fiction, compared the Twilight scribe with Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling.
"Both Rowling and Meyer, they're speaking directly to young people... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn," King told USA Weekend. "She's not very good."
I read the entire series and LOVED it. But I have to admit I think King is right! The whole time I was reading the books I had moments of thinking, "this is so awful, I can't read anymore." Only to devour each and every book.
The film adaptation of Twilight, which hit theaters last year and stars British actor Robert Pattinson, has so far grossed $340m at the box office. The film's sequel, New Moon, is due for release later this year.

I totally agree that she isn't the greatest author but the story was very good which is more than I could do lol.

Yeah the story was good, but she is not a great writer. JK Rowling is a much better writer than Meyers. ~Hillary
He's just pissed that she's making more per word than he is right now. The man devours a small woodland ecosystem with every manuscript he puts out.
He is however much more talented than S. Meyer. Plus she's named after a wiener.
He may be right, but she's laughing all the way to the bank.
