I don't care if people smoke pot. It should be legal anyways. So a pot smoker can win 8 olympic metals and so why is it bad to smoke pot again? Tell me...

Sure, it's illegal. Sure, it doesn't set a good example for young, impressionable youth. That being said, dude didn't get to have much of a youth at all. He was constantly training. Just going out and having fun. No need to stone him.
I can see why some people are disappointed in him, because so many kids look up to him, but I think the guy deserves a break. He's only human, and it's only pot.
The question is what do YOU think?

I think, "big deal." But I'm very pro-pot. It's a huge PR problem for him, tho. I wonder what will happen to all of his endorsements? I think it depends on how big of a deal the US media makes of it....
Oh - and when I say "big deal," I mean it like "What's the big deal?"
I think if he were using steroids, that would be a bigger problem. He came right out and said he did it and he's sorry, so I think it will blow over quickly.
I have no issues. The people I would have an issue with is showing it all over the mainstream news where kids or whoever are going to see it. If it wasn't for the media making a big deal out of it, there would be no issue. Right? How many kids would have seen this photo if it was kept a private photo?
Anyways I'm not huge on the whole "role model" thing anyways when it comes to celebrities... even athletes.
Judgments aside, i wish i had a big PR company to write and give my apologies for me when i was 23!
Simply put he is a 23 year old boy! He acting his age, something he has never been able to do, give the boy a break.
