Oooh! A smackdown between Beyonce and Janet Jackson (who is fat again, btw)! My money's on Beyonce. Sure, Janet could sit on her but I think Beyonce would win the yelling fight.
Beyonce Knowles has infuriated Janet Jackson - by suggesting her family is lower class.
The former Destiny's Child singer said in a recent interview, "I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We're African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we're like The Jacksons.
"But I didn't have parents using me to get out of a bad situation."
Knowles' comments were not welcome - and Janet now plans to confront her R&B rival.
A source tells the National Enquirer magazine, "Beyonce's remark came out of left field and really stung Janet. She blew up.
"Yes, Janet and the Jackson family came from Gary, Indiana, and there was a time they barely squeaked by. But Janet has many loving memories and is incensed that Beyonce would make a crack like that.
"Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family. They're not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she's from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats.
"Janet is proud of her family and how they came from nothing and became superstars.
"Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she's planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act."

I hope Janet puts the little girl in her place. Janet may not be on top anymore but without her and her family Mrs. B and a lot of these talentless stars wouldn't have the opportunities they have today. No class Ms. Hova but I knew that from your songs.

Beyonce is so stupid and immature. Obviously they come from two historical backgrounds and era. In the 50s and 60s, The Jacksons, Michael, Janet, and many artists paved the way for Beyonce and many others to enjoy the success of being a music artist. The Jacksons are Royal icons in the music business and deeply rooted in Our African American history and culture.
It is so insulting of Beyonce to say what she said. If she didn't think her parents used her to enjoy success, she is out of her rabbbit ass- mind. Having a jaguar and going to private school isn't considered "high class." I know many people who go to church school and call that private and drive benzs and jags and live right in the projects.
And over the many years Beyonce's speech reminded me of someone who was raised in the ghetto or the projects and attended only public schools. She still sounds slightly ghetto at times. She is getting better over time, but I can still tell she is from a low socioeconomic background.
And far as I know, Janet Jackson was tutored privately growing up in the 60s... Opportunities weren't as many as they are now and she should be thanking Janet Jackson for making black women a sex symbol before she could walk as a baby.
She has so much to learn. I guess money makes you lose perspective about where you come from. She definitely has lost hers.
And this thing about putting a ring on it. JZ did not put a ring on it until he pimped her into his music empire. He made her look as if she threw herself at him over the 5 years they were together before they married. He didn't like it until she begged him to put a ring on it. Plus he had a baby (son) to prove that he didn't want to put a ring on anything or anyone. He married her because of the pressure and you can believe there is all kinds of prenuptial conditions because JZ IS from the ghetto and the brother aint no fool!
And her parents should take lessons from Joe and Catherine because they are still married all these years and Beyonce's parents are divorced.
Making money off of her - Momma has her own business now, thanks to Beyonce's success and Daddy still continues to rake in the dollars as her manager. Who's pimping who Beyonce? You really have disrespected the history of black music and Janet Jackson's family and me. You will never gain the respect and love that the Jackson's have over the years.

I don't have all the history on Beyonce, but I do appreciate the comments. There are too many folks that "think" they are high class and don't have a clue.
I don't hate her because I don't know Beyonce. I wish she was more mindful of the young ladies who "think" she is someone to emulate.
We have too many "overpaid" actors, actresses, sportsmen, and the list can go on of folks that don't look at how they hurt and hinder others, especially our youth, with reckless words and behaviors.

Im a HUGE fan of Michael, and i think that the media should just stay out of celebz buisness,i mean if your a humanitarian or have a talent or become famous for some reason, the media tell only bad stuff because they think the good stuff won't sell.
