Jennifer Aniston has been described as a “clingy” girlfriend; and her new beau, John Mayer, is treating their romance as a “summer fling”, according to insiders.

The former ‘Friends’ actress and the ‘No Such Thing’ hitmaker were snapped last week in a swimming pool at Miami’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel; and in the pic, Jennifer, 39, was climbing on top of John, but onlookers say the 30-year-old “looked bored”.

Friends say the singer is “categorizing this as a summer fling for now”.

“He’s a serial dater, but he’s never cheated on a girl,” the insider said.

“He’s making the effort to fly to Miami to be with Jen. That says something.”
