Tension Among AI Judges?

Photobucket
The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that there's tension among the American Idol judges and it might not be between who you think. Seems that despite an initially warm reception, Simon Cowell can't stand new judge, Kara Dio Guardi. And here everyone thought it would be Kara and PAULA who wouldn't click.

''Actually, Paula thinks it's funny how things have turned out,'' said the source. ''She and Kara have clicked fine, but Simon has issues. ... Of course, he also knows that kind of tension adds to the show's viewer appeal, but deep down he really thinks her musical sensibilities are pretty inferior. ... Plus, you can tell he simply doesn't like her that much personally. ... It's all in the body language.''

I like Kara. What about you?

I like her so much more than Paula. You can defnitely see the tension though.

I like her, but you can tell Simon doesn't. She is kinda rude in the way she talks to him. She should be disregarding his comments so soon (as in the 1st season being on the show).

I was just telling my husband last night that I like her which is surprising to me since I didn't think I'd care for a 4th judge.

I don't like her.
I sort of don't listen to her thoughts anymore. LOL!
It seemed in the beginning that she just repeated whatever Randy had said.

I liked her at first. Now, she's just sort of there. She doesn't add anything to the discussion anymore. She's like a more coherent version of Paula : light, fluffy with very little relevant constructive criticism.

As for Paula, I haven't been able to stand her for years now. I fast forward through her reviews because they generally consist of her mumbling and making little sense. At least 2-3 performances are bound to make her cry and everyone is wonderful. She needs to get the boot.

I like Kara ok, but she's so focused on the 'sellable' aspect of each singer and not on anything else. So that's a little annoying. I have noticed that Paula seems way more lucid and is paying attention and giving relevant criticism though, maybe she is worried she's the one that will go?
