Who does Lauren Conrad think she is?! She's the star of a cheesy MTV "reality" show, not a movie star! Ugh, I'm ready for her to go away. What do you guys think?
"THE Hills" star Lauren Conrad not only pulled a diva act at the "Paws for Style" animal charity event at Arena last week, she misbehaved in the Hamptons over the weekend, too. Conrad was flown to East Hampton by chopper and paid to host a party at Lily Pond for Svedka's "Join the Party" campaign, but she showed up two hours late. "She seems to have lost a grip on reality and thinks she is A-list material," said our source. "And after taking pictures, she bolted straight to the VIP area and refused to speak to anyone outside her entourage."

Trouble between Lauren & Audrina?
Why can't LC keep a best friend?
THINGS between "The Hills" stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge may not be as chummy as they look on the screen. We hear that Patridge, who is roomies with Conrad, locks the door to her bedroom when she leaves their LA apartment because "she doesn't trust Lauren," according to one source. Not to mention that Patridge "gets really annoyed at Lauren's cats because they pee on her rug and on her bed." A rep for Patridge said, "This is ridiculous. Audrina loves living with Lauren." Lauren Conrad to US: "Geez You Guys!"
I don't watch "The Hills." Ever. But alot of people do! The new season starts on Monday so the PR mill is working overtime to put the girls in the spotlight.
Lauren Conrad is fuming at Us Weekly for embarrassing her on the cover this week.
Editors and writers at the celebrity magazine, who routinely dine, party and rub elbows with Conrad and her fellow reality show stars, pulled a bait-and-switch on the wide-eyed cutie when they pulled together a hodgepodge of interviews and put her on the cover under the blaring headline, "Stabbed in the Back," referring to her friend and co-star Audrina Patridge.
In fact, Conrad claims, she never said that to the weekly. Conrad writes on her MySpace page, "The article itself is a nice one but it follows headlines that, in no way, represent my words or feelings. I do not feel betrayed by Audrina or [Conrad's ex] Brody [Jenner]. I love them both and said nothing to contradict this."
One magazine insider told Page Six that Us Weekly didn't even have the "exclusive interview" it claimed to have with Conrad. "Us pulled quotes from various press trips where multiple reporters got quotes from Lauren," the source said.
"Us got what they wanted out of a few weeks of interviews, but they didn't let Lauren know what was going on," added our insider. "If you want to talk about who was stabbed in the back, it was Lauren. She was stabbed in the back by Us Weekly."
One friend of Conrad emphasized that she's upset because she had a particularly trusting relationship with her pals at the magazine. "She's very good friends with these people," a Conrad source told Page Six, referring to Us Weekly's reporters. "She goes out to dinner with them, and so does Audrina. So Lauren definitely wasn't happy when she saw this cover."
Sources pointed out the decision to put Conrad and her complaints on the cover was made by Editor-in-Chief Janice Min, not by the reporters.
Conrad - reluctant to ruin her relationship with the magazine, which often pays her to pose for photos - told us: "It was never my intention to criticize Us Weekly, as I have a great relationship with them. My statement was only meant to support and stand by my friends
