Which chipper newsie has a reputation for knockin' em back all day long? Brass at the network have had to have "the talk" with her several times but so far no change in behavior..... Maybe her bosses haven't been earnest enough to get through to her?

I would describe her as chipper. Maybe not in the Couric way, but I'd say she's chipper. Mostly, I would describe her as annoyingly earnest.
So it is Ann. Wow, but not completely surprising although I'm unable to put my finger on exactly why ...but for some reason she is the first name that jumped in my mind when I read your posting ...I don't really think of Ann as chipper either. More like 'wow, bet she can be a bitch' when I see her. Wonder what her sauce of choice is?
