Amy Winehouse Ready to Start Family?!

Um...am I alone in thinking it would be a bad idea for Amy Winehouse and Blake Incarcerated to start a family together?!

Amy Winehouse's will start a family when her husband is released from prison, the singer's dad has claimed.

Mitch Winehouse says the Rehab hitmaker is eager to have children, and it's likely to happen when Blake Fielder-Civil is freed from jail.

He explains, "When it comes to Amy, I’m hopeful. I think she’ll be fine, and if Blake’s out of prison in a year, they’ll be having a family."

Blake, 26, has been locked up in London's Pentonville prison for seven months awaiting his trail, which began last week. He has admitted to charges of assault and perverting the course of justice; and experts say he could face up to five years in jail.

But Mitch says Amy is determined to wait for her husband. He added to Britain's Closer magazine, "Amy understands Blake might have to do a long time in prison -- she’s not stupid. But she’ll stand by him and he’ll stand by her.

"He said sorry for introducing hard drugs into Amy’s life. He said he’ll put it right, so I hope that happens. If Blake comes out and they go back to how they were, they’ll die."

Taxi driver Mitch admitted he was furious with Blake over video footage that emerged last weekend showing Amy, 24, singing a racist song, taking drugs and performing sex acts on her husband. The footage was filmed by Blake, and shows Amy asking him to stop recording.

"It was Amy’s memory card, which was stolen from her camera a few months ago," reveals Mitch. "It was taken during the height of their drug use, but I'm angry. Blake should be looking after Amy, not filming her when she’s worse for wear."

Mitch also admits Amy’s two-week stint in rehab in January failed, but he’s positive for the future.

He added, "She didn’t want to get clean then, but she’s talking about it now. She’s nowhere near as bad as she was. A nurse visits twice a day and we’re kept well informed about how she’s doing.

"She’s making progress. She wants kids and knows she can’t be taking drugs, or the baby would be addicted – she wouldn’t do that."
