I had a feeling David Cook was going to win!
I thought the judges were totally over the top in their blind praise for David Archuleta on Tuesday night. I think they did it intentionally(or at least Simon)to get people worked up that they would "have" to vote for Cook to save him from losing. That's just what I think happened.
Regardless, I must say - I'm so relieved!! I just never took to David Archuleta. Congrats, David Cook! I don't know if he's going to "make it," but it was a good season.

I completely felt the same way about Simon!! I told my husband after the show that Simon just got a lot of votes for Cook and made people feel like they didn't need to vote for David A. cause he had it in the bag. I didn't watch all season but I think David Cook definately deserved to win, although I admit David A was who I thought was going to get all the votes.
Ayup, I agree 100%. I don't think winning or losing will change either of these guys' career paths anyway - each will make the album they are going to make & they will make it or not, I don't think Archuleta's chances are any worse having lost.
