According to The New York Daily News, Rihanna has been spending time in Punta Mita, Mexico. The print edition of the paper is running exclusive photos that show the pop princess in a somber mood.
Rihanna's family was furious after a photograph of her battered face was leaked, and the singer was determined to get out of Los Angeles.
Shortly before she split last Thursday, Rihanna released a note to her fans telling them "she remains strong."
Punta Mita is outside of Puerto Vallarta. It's a very quiet, secluded area (other than Four Seasons & St. Regis resorts). Hopefully Rihanna is getting the break she needs surrounded by friends who love her.
