Did you see the 5 minute promo Barbara Walters did for Tom Cruise's not-so-much anticipated movie, Valkyrie, last night on her Most Fascinating People special? Tom Cruise fascinating? Whatever. Tom Cruise is so far from fascinating these days. Maybe in a couple of years if his Ben Stiller aided "comeback" happens, but this year? Nah.
Katie Holmes isn't fascinating either. Altho I did read a story in Star Magazine about Tom making her cut her hair and that she was really upset about it. Do you think Tom made her cut her hair?
Tom Cruise admits it was love at first sight when he first clapped eyes on his now-wife Katie Holmes.
"I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her," the actor, 46, says in the Dec. 7 issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, in which he and Holmes appear on split covers for the Holiday/Reinvention issue.
When Holmes confessed to him that she dreamed of marrying him as a little girl, "I said I wouldn't want to disappoint her," Cruise says. "At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject. I wanted to ask her."
In a separate interview, former Dawson's Creek star Holmes, 29, admits she also was "completely in love" after their first meeting.
"He was so warm, and I thought, 'Wow,'" says Katie - who is currently appearing on Broadway in the Arthur Miller play All My Sons. "I thought, 'You can be a superstar and a human being.'"

Nope, not fascinating. Just weird. Crazy & weird.
I'd say interesting (in a weirdo way) but not fascinating.
Tom's like that friend in college who you hung out with cause, while real quirky and crazy,seemed to know everyone through entertaining them with his antics.
But 10 or 20 years later, you are just wondering how to get rid of him cause he's still the same offensive guy and is just an embarassment once you've grown up. Yet he still keeps calling.
How can we get rid of him now?
Jonathan, I think I know that college guy too. Too funny! Someone needs to find a way to get rid of him.
Sadly I don't think Barbara is all that relevant anymore. She's losing her touch.

He always seems awkward to me. And I am always wondering what weired thingheisgoingtopull next.
