Turkey Day Break

I was planning on blogging this morning but instead went to the ER. When I woke up this morning I couldn't move my neck without yelping in pain. I'm now laying on my couch with a heating pad after taking two HUGE muscle relaxers. I think any minute now I could start typing crazy stuff, so please forgive me if I don't get to ALL of the morning's gossip!

I'm headed out of town later this afternoon. My parents are in NYC celebrating with friends so my husband, the boys and I are hosting family at their house. It's our first Thanksgiving dinner as the cooks! We spent $42 on a 17lbs turkey so it better be good. Craig and I kept wondering, "is that alot for a turkey?" We were assured it was.

I'll be posting sporadically so if you feel the need to escape crazy family members check in and see if I'm escaping, too.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I'm so thankful to everyone who comes to my blog. Thank you!
xoxo
Nikki

Nikki-I hope you are feeling better. That sucks that you have to cook with your neck like that.

Soooo, the burning question is:
Was your turkey moist? We ran out of time for brining--just cooked it in a bag and it was pretty good . . . and moist!

Nothing like a morning run to the ER. I wonder what the heck you did?

Please tell the boys I said Hi!
