It's hard for me to even come up with anything to say about Travolta anymore. Scientology-closeted gayness aside, if his son is autistic and they aren't doing everything possible for him...it's disgusting. They blame his "condition" on carpet cleaners?! WHAT?!
It's not often that you see John Travolta, Kelly Preston and both of their kids out together, but the whole family had a night out in Paris. (John REALLY looks different with that facial hair and bald head.) Ella is 9, and Jett, 16, is reportedly autistic. Because Scientology doesn't recognize autism or psychiatry, Travolta has never publicly admitted that his son is autistic and blames his disability on environmental causes - specifically "carpet cleaning chemicals." Jett speaks with difficulty and autism organizations (and certainly Jenny McCarthy) criticize the Travoltas for not giving their son autism treatment and education.

That really makes me sick. I have a friend who has an autistic child who has done fantastic but it took a lot of work with autism teachers. If they didn't believe in autism, the child still would be mute.
I have no opinion on the carpet cleaners. I do believe a lot of what Jennie McCarthy has to say about autism since her son shows no signs of it anymore. I really do believe there are environmental factors to it.
It's quite said that Jett can't live a complete life in the best health because they don't want to acknowledge or help him to the best of their abilities.
I've heard this before, very sad. Either way I hope this kid doesn't read about all this online. I suppose if it is true then that probably wouldn't happen. I still just feel bad for celeb kids and all the things people say about them.

This really makes me so angry! I can't understand why some people will let their religion rule their lives to the point of discriminating against others. Even their own children!!! OK, so they say it's from some sort of carpet cleaner that caused his problems? Well, get your head out of your ass, and get him help to be able to work with and around his issues. L. Ron and/or God can't fix everything unless you're willing to help yourself and those close to you! DUMBASSES!!!!
Give that autism story a rest. Jett is not autistic. It's amazing what crap you bloggers will try to pass off as fact. It's even more amazing that some people actually believe your lies.

Or rabid Scientology fan. It's well known that Scientology, like most organizations with an agenda, have people that watch social networking and other media sites to dispute disparaging remarks about Scientology and its adherents. Personally I have no clue if the kid is autistic. It's a poorly understood condition, although they are finding genes that cause speech delay and finding that especially in autism cases. If he is autistic he deserves all the help he can get. Any religion that ignores science for science fiction is not just silly, it's dangerous. It's no surprise that numerous EU countries have classified it as a cult. If it looks like Kool-Aid, and smells like Kool-Aid, well...
