Did you hear that Brooke Smith, the actor who plays Dr. Hahn on Grey's has been fired?! This Thursday will be her last ep. I'm torn about how I feel. I really didn't feel the chemistry between Callie and Hahn. But I hate to think that ABC put the kabosh on it because it was a lesbian storyline. Apparently they've hired Melissa George to play the new cardio guru and her character will be bisexual. So, maybe it was more about the lack of chemistry between Callie and Hahn and they're going to continue to explore it with Melissa George?
Of course, word on the street is that advertisers weren't digging the storyline and were threatening to walk. So time will tell if Grey's gets to tell their story or if ABC chickened out.

I just heard that, AND I heard there's a rumor that dr. Hahn is not the only one leaving Grey's. I think you're right that ABC chickened out because I've also heard the Melissa George storyline has changed, but we'll have to wait and see.
I'm going out on a limb and saying it's because she's incredibly ugly. I'm sure she's beautiful on the inside and a great actor, but that doesn't really matter when you look like the ass end of a dolphin.
oooooh! I'm zipping my lips on this one. Just want to remind everyone what Melissa George looks like and that Shonda Rhimes, in her statement declared that Callie will continue to be a lesbian character.

Her mouth irritates me. I know that's bad but it does. I've never really been a fan. Plus she's just a plain bitch to the people she is supposed to be teaching. Go away!
I really hope they don't do away with the story line though. It's 2008 ~ let's get caught up with the times folks.
