Word on the street regarding Joaquin Phoenix hasn't been good for quite some time. Erratic behavior, bloaty, pasty, sullen, down one minute and on top of the world the next. Gwyneth has been promoting their latest film across the globe solo, leaving everyone to wonder, "Where the hell is Joaquin?!"
Well, he emerged last night in San Fran with Casey Affleck for the star-studded Paul Newman benefit. "Extra's" Jerry Pinacoli ran into him and asked what he's been up to, to which Joaquin replied:
I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor… I'm not doing films anymore."
"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli, shocked by the news, further probed Joaquin. "Are you serious?" Phoenix, who was curiously being followed by his own camera crews, reiterated, "Yeah. I'm working on my music. I'm done. I've been through that."
Actor Casey Affleck, present during the admission, tells "Extra", "I don't think he's kidding. He's got music and stuff."
Uh, OK....

He's a pretty odd guy, but I LOVE him as an actor! Didn't he do his own vocal in the Johnny Cash movie? IDK...maybe he'll do well with a singing career.
Char-
He's looking a little like Joe Cocker all of the sudden.

lmao - Joe Cocker!
Yeah, Char - he did all the vocals for "Walk The Line." I think Joaquin is all kinds of eff'd up. Demons, I think. Imagine seeing your brother die. *sigh* I so remember waking up to hear that River had died. I SO loved him.
I LOVE Joaquin! He's a GREAT actor!
I would hope that he is not in a bad way.
He'll be missed in the movies!
