Argh!! What was up with that venue? The stage, the sets - so cheap looking! I had a hard time watching. You all know I had high hopes for Russell Brand but I think nerves and a not-so-engaged audience got in the way of things. There were highs and lows and then it seemed that everything else just settled somewhere in the middle, in blahsville.

Katy Perry
I think I'm the only one of my friends who actually thought the little banana outfit she wore to perform was super cute on her. I've made no secret of the fact that I love Katy. I think she's refreshing.
Miley Cyrus
As refreshing as I find Katy Perry, I did think Miley looked cute walking the red carpet last night.
The Jonas Brothers
As a former boy band groupie, I get the Jonas Brothers. And I think they're cute!
Solange
Beyonce's baby sister has really come into her own! I think she looks fantastic.
Ashlee Simpson
Ashlee Simpson looked gorgeous last night. HUGE, but gorgeous!
Chris Brown
Chris Brown is just too cute, isn't he?
Lauren Conrad
I'm not a big LC fan, but I thought she looked really pretty last night.
Britney
Oh sure, the extensions were bad but still - she looked great! And I'll tell ya, after seeing the stage for this year's VMA's, I'm so glad she didn't waste her time with a performance! Aren't you??

I agree with everything you said. I think Pink was amazing too. I really disliked the venue and I hope they never have it there again! How many awards were there? 5?? It just didn't seem much like an award show to me. I liked the comedy between performances and awards and this year just did not do it for me. I wish they would have had some other people come out with Russell during parts to kind of spice it up and keep it interesting. Oh and one of my favorite parts was when "McLovin'" came out with Slip Knot! I love that guy!
