Word is Kanye West has been arrested at LAX on charges of battery and vandalism!! Speculation is that it's due to a situation with paparrazzi. He's still in custody at the airport. Will update with more when it's available!
UPDATE: Ok, apparently Kanye was boarding an American Airlines flight at LAX when he saw a pap taking pictures of him. He went over, grabbed the camera and smashed it to the ground. A TMZ reporter with a video camera caught the whole thing and when Kanye realized he had recorded the incident he told the reporter to give him the camera. When he refused, Kanye's assistant grabbed it and messed it up.
Meanwhile the other pap is shouting "Help! Police!" and as Kanye was trying to board his flight the cops came and got him. Apparently, he is being booked on charges of vandalism and battery.
Once again the paparrazzi prevail. I'll never understand why they're SO protected by the law. They're a nuisance and in so many cases a threat to people's safety!
Even if Kanye was being a dick, I don't think he deserves to be charged with this.

I think he should have been arrested. You can't act like that. I think the pap go way too far a lot of the time, but if they were just at the airport, snapping pictures, then I don't see why Kanye needed to go all crazy on them. He was in the business long enough before he became "famous" to know the pap would be crazy. But it doesn't stop him from going out and making his money and doing his thing. The pap are also just out there making their money and doing their thing. I do not agree with them at all when they put celebs in dangerous situations though.
Now i don't think he needs to be sentensed to jail or anything, but I agree with his arrest.
