Hilary Swank had a non-threatening growth removed. I'm glad to hear she's going to be ok!

Oscar winner HILARY SWANK is recovering at home after a minor procedure to have a small growth removed.

The actress was "experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action which included a brief hospitalisation to remove a small, benign growth," according to her manager, Jason Weinberg.

Weinberg also confirmed Swank's treatment was a success.

He adds, "Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation."
