Anne Hathaway Talk About Ex

Somewhat begrudgingly I'm starting to like Anne Hathaway. In theory I should like her - but there's always been something about her that holds me back from fully embracing her. I think it's her skin.

She's getting raves for her performance in the new Jonathan Demme movie, "Rachel Getting Married" in which she plays a rehab patient. I'm definitely going to see it!

Anne Hathaway has told of her "shock" at ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri's arrest.

The Devil Wears Prada star split from the Italian businessman in June this year shortly before he was taken into custody on suspicion of conspiracy, wire fraud, and money laundering.

And Hathaway, 25, admits the incident shook her world.

She tells the new issue of W magazine, "As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for Get Smart. And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house.

"It's a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden.

"But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me. One said, 'Go stay at my house.' And Steve Carell [her Get Smart costar] stepped up for me during an interview when someone asked a question [about it].

"He said, 'At some point you're going to have to talk about this time in your life. You don't have to do it this week. I'll take care of anything that comes your way.'"

Follieri -- who is currently being held in custody as he failed to post the $21million bail set by the judge -- is due to appear in a New York court on Thursday, September 11, and is prepared to settle the case.
