Did everyone have a good weekend? We had a great holiday weekend chillin' on the Mississippi River. Lots of daytime fun with the kids and nightly grown-up cocktails. Last night we hired a sitter and went out on the town. We started out at our family-favorite dive bar, Jonesy's. It's owned by our Uncle Dougie. We are not related. We just call him "Uncle Dougie." So it was me, Craig, my parents, my uncle and my 21 year old cousin, Abby. We started our evening at 5:30pm. There are chalkboards in the bathrooms at Jonesy's and I took the opportunity to do a little free advertising. I wrote:

And everytime we went back into the bathroom someone had erased the "goss" and written "SLUT." Oh man, that really cracked me up! So welcome to NikkibSLUT.com!

By 7pm Abby and I were dancing on the bar. *sigh* (Note to self: No bar dancing when wearing Spanx!!) At 7:45pm my mom & I were singing along to Cher. Another bad idea. lol If you add in the cherry bomb shots I guess it kind of sounds like three strikes - out. However, it was a great night that was only funnier because of all of the things I mentioned. I had fun with my family this weekend and I hope you did, too! The highlight of Sammy's weekend was meeting "Princess Molly," who is the Jr. Miss Clinton County. He LOVES princesses and Molly exceeded all of his expectations.
