Brad Pitt Under Fire

I'm so glad I'm not a celeb - under constant scrutiny. Brad Pitt was riding around in a golf cart with Shiloh on his lap. Now people are saying he's a bad dad. Umm...none of the golf carts I've been in even have seat belts and furthermore, I've never seen golf cart helmets. Leave the guy alone!

Brad Pitt certainly won't win any prizes for Father of the Year, after he was spotted driving a golf buggy on a quad bike track, with daughter Shiloh perched on his lap.

The Ocean's 11 actor was seen out with sons Pax and Maddox enjoying a family day out at a quad bike track in Miraval.

But the 44-year-old was criticised after he was seen leading the way in a golf buggy with his two-year-old blonde daughter seated on his lap.

Toddler Shiloh was perched on Pitt's lap for the ride and doesn't appear to be wearing a seat belt nor a helmet.

I'm not huge Brad and Angie fans so normally I would relish less than perfect news, but Good Lord, give the guy a break! Talk about nitpicking.

I think that's totally ridiculous to give him a hard time over that. I would ride Livi in my lap in a golf cart. We have older neighbors that ride their grandson around on theirs all the time.

Big deal. It's not like he's going 60 miles an hour on the highway with her not being strapped in properly or not at all. My husband takes the kids on the four wheeler all the time without seat belts or helmets and goes slow.

This is kind of far reaching. If he was acting unsafe while driving, swerving around or had a six pack on the seat next to him I'd take it a bit more serious, lol.

who the hell wears a helmet on a golf cart? NOBODY. On my lap is exactly where I'd put my child if they were that young and with me. I'm not gonna set them in the seat beside me to lean over and fall out. And YES I would take my kids for a ride on one. They have been on a riding lawnmower with their grandpa lots of times...and gasp NO HELMET there either.

C'mon as a parent myself. I remember doing things that at the time I did not think were dangerous. You get so caught up with the JOY OF THE MOMENT with your child that that is the last thing on your mind. Later and sometimes it's YEARS later...you go.hmmmmmm...I should have not done that with my kid.

Its a golf cart for crying out loud! How fast could it go? So petty.

Who the hell cares? It's his own property why are there people in his business taking pictures anyways? Is that not illegal. Give them a break. There fine. You know a kid could hurt themselves eating a grape. So what. No more grapes for you? Gessh.

Too much coddling is ridiculous. I'm all for proper safety measures, but really... this is ridiculous. I remember playing Lawn Darts as a kid... you know, giant metal spikes that you threw into the air... I seemed to come out ok.

It's like raising an animal in captivity and then just throwing it into the wild. Kids are going to be too damn soft. Let's get past this ridiculousness please.

For crying out loud!!! He is in HIS own property (albeit rented), driving a golf cart, spending quality time with his kid!!! Those paps intruded their privacy in their own place!!! Haters and pretentious saintly mothers should use their common sense before judging the man!!!

I'm glad we all agree on this one :-)
