Kate Beckinsale Has Body Double For New Film

The slim 'n' trim actress has demanded a body double for her latest film because she "loathes" her derriere, Britain's Daily Mail reports.

Producers reportedly have to shell out big bucks for a $2,000-a-day nude stand-in for Beckinsale's shower scene in "Whiteout" after the actress refused to bare her thighs and bum on-camera.

"Kate has a terrible self-image," an on-set source said. "She thinks she is fat and she is always complaining how certain outfits make her bottom look big. Of course, the reality is that she has the most amazing body."

Beckinsale, 34, plays a U.S. marshal tracking a killer through Antarctica in the film, set for a September release.

Beckinsale, who battled anorexia as a teen, has publicly discussed her body image issues with the media, telling Glamour in 2007, "I don’t think you can aspire to [the Hollywood 'look' ] and nor can I."
