Good Morning!

I'm so sorry I didn't have any updates for you this weekend. My in-laws were visiting and we had many projects to attend to. We were oh-so suburban and even had to rent a sod cutter! I put an 8 piece patio set together all on my own. When I got finished and was enjoying a Bud Light (I like crap beer) at the table last night I realized, "OMG, this set looks like it belongs on the set of 'The Golden Girls.'" Which just made me love it more. If I were a Golden Girl I would definitely be Blanche. But then again...doesn't everyone see themselves as Blanche? Certainly no one sees themselves as Maude. I mean, Dorothy.

Speaking of The Golden Girls, all reports I've received about "Sex And The City" have been positive. My friends Lesley and Tracy both said the exact same thing: it's like a long episode of the show and it tied up alot of loose ends. I'll see it. I know I will. I wish I were more excited about it, though.

Did you see the pics of SJP from the NYC premiere? I thought that dress was AMAZING...but can't BELIEVE that Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens totally lied to SJP when he told her no one had publicly worn the dress. Not only has it been worn - but Mr. Theyskens actually escorted socialite Lauren Santo Domingo wearing the dress to the Met ball less than a month ago! And...to make matters SO MUCH WORSE, Lesby HoHan has worn it! THE HORROR! Lesby was photographed by paparazzi in the dress while wearing it for a Harper's Bazaar shoot. Seriously, that's gotta be the worst part about it.

SJP has commented:

“In the big picture, this is not important, but there is a relationship between the entertainment industry and fashion,” Parker said on Thursday evening, adding. “We’ve watched sales dwindle and we’ve watched people be less inclined to spend money on clothes.” To Parker, these are reasons for companies to take particular care with their relationships. “Look, my affection for the dress hasn’t changed,” she said, “but what they did was so short-sighted. It’s just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again.”

I dunno, "unethical" might be pushing it. But it was shitty for sure.

I'm going to be announcing a new Giveaway this week so check back! It's going to be a good one!

Would love for everyone who saw SATC this weekend to weigh in. Comments?!

I saw Sex and the City last night and it was sooooo good!! It definitely was like an extra long episode (2 1/2 hours actually) but it flew by. It tied up all loose ends and it actually left me wanting more SATC.

It is a definite must see for all SATC fans and even if you did not watch the show it is still a great movie. My sister went with me and she did not watch the show and she still loved it.

I did not see SATC. About the dress, that's a pretty messed up thing to do, but from those pics atleast I can say SJP looked the best in it.
