Neil Diamond Nite on American Idol

Jason Castro: First song - eh. Second song - Much better than the first song. Simon is right - forgettable.

David Cook: First - pretty good! Second song - He was so smart to choose a song no one knows. Great job. He's CLEARLY the front runner to win, isn't he? Is anyone even close to him?

Brooke White: First song - no, no, no. Awful. Second song - "I Am I Said" is one of my favorite songs and I think she did a good job. She almost ALWAYS does well when she's in front of the piano.

David Archuleta: First song - no. no. SO cheesy. Second song - OMG, I'm sorry. I can't get over it. He's just too young. It's cheesy.

Syesha: First song - great song choice for her. I think she did a good job. After the past couple performances, I'd say she's the most improved. Second song - SO smart. Good for Syesha to find some personality - finally!

What an awful first half! Every single one of those kids were freaked out about the time. Hurry, hurry, hurry. As Craig is saying - the producers are to blame for this. They should have NEVER done the show like this. Luckily, the 2nd half was better than the first.

And seriously, wtf Paula? She is SO busted.

1. David Cook
2. Syesha
3. David Archuleta
4. Brooke White
5. Jason Castro

And I'm going to pick Jason to go home. Even tho I'm not sure it'll be him.

WHAT is Paula on, and where can I find some?! She was crazy last night. I was horrified for her.

I really, REALLY cannot stand David Archuletta. I had to fast forward my DVR through him singing America. I just couldn't stomach it. Ewwww.

I agree with your order. I think that David Cook is clearly a front runner to win...but for the sake of his career, maybe it would be better if he came in second? Let that cheeseball Archuletta come in first and be saddled with the 'American Idol' title for the rest of his career.

Well, here we are the day after the elimination and Jason stayed on for another week. I bet he goes next week. Either him or Syesha. America isn't ready to let little David Archuletta go yet although I'm liking him less and less each week. I think David Cook has what it takes.

I love Simon but Paula ...ewww. Come'on. I wish he'd quit kissing on her. She's a dopey nutcase.
